With compassion, pet euthanasia offers a tender farewell, bringing relief from pain and discomfort.
Saying goodbye to furry family members is never easy. We will discuss all the options with you so that you can make the best decision for your pet.
Euthanasia is most often considered when quality of life is declining. Starting with an exam and consult with a veterinarian can help you make a decision.
Most often, an IV catheter is placed in your pet and you are given time alone with them. When you are ready to say goodbye, the veterinarian will administer the ethanol, which is an anesthetic overdose by injection.
Of course you can stay with your cat. If you can, call ahead and book an appointment so we can be sure to have a room ready specifically for you and your cat.
Please call the clinic to discuss the costs of the euthanasia.
We are always here to help you cope during your time of loss. We do not have a counselling program but will listen when you need someone to talk to.
